Effective March 1, 2021, the doc4pets Group is taking over the small animal practice of Dr. Anke Essig. Dr. Essig built this practice, a mixed practice for small animals and horses, with three assistant veterinarians over 20 years ago, with great passion and dedication. Dr. Essig commented on the takeover: "Unfortunately, no internal successor could be found, so we approached doc4pets. A due diligence process was completed very quickly, and an agreement was reached. This meant my practice didn't have to close in January, and my life's work will continue."„

Dr. Susanne Arndt, managing partner of doc4pets GmbH: „When we were approached and then saw the practice for the first time, it was love at first sight. We are very pleased that, with flexibility on both sides, we can ensure a quick and successful practice succession.“

Veterinarian Anna Daum, along with two assistant veterinarians and a team of veterinary technicians, will offer pet owners from Malsch, Gaggenau, Ettlingen, Rastatt, and Baden-Baden the same high-quality veterinary services previously provided by Dr. Essig, and will further expand upon these services. The practice is currently seeking a motivated equine practitioner, either employed or as a self-employed partner. About doc4pets:

doc4pets GmbH is an owner-managed group of five small animal practices located in southwestern Germany. With its innovative and disruptive approach to veterinary succession, it offers veterinarians looking to sell their practices a succession plan with qualified senior veterinarians from within the doc4pets network. These veterinarians, in turn, have the opportunity to acquire a stake in the acquired practice and later take over a majority share. The core concept is that of the highly qualified independent practitioner, who receives support from the group in areas such as purchasing, marketing, and accounting. This allows them to focus entirely on their small patients.

Due to continuous growth, doc4pets is always looking for veterinarians specializing in small animal and equine medicine. Job openings are available for both junior veterinarians, who will be supported through a mentoring program to guide them on their future career path, and senior veterinarians specializing in small animals, who will find exciting opportunities and clear career prospects. For example, becoming a branch manager offers more than just a job; it provides the opportunity to take on responsibility for personnel and the company's financial success. Alternatively, qualified senior veterinarians can further specialize in a leadership role within a larger small animal center and develop their own business areas.
